US watch brands complete Galleria relocation


Watch brands, Shinola and Filson, have completed the move away from North Loop and into the Galleria in Houston.

The brands owned by Dallas_based company, Bedrock Manufacturing, moved into their new stores last Thursday, July 19.

Filson, based in Seattle, will move into the former Excelr8 pop up while Shinola, based in Detroit, will be located across from Cave in what was Ribnick Luxury Outwear’s summer pop up.


Shinola and Filson previously held a joint store together in North Loop and had done, until this move which will see them separate, since 2014.

The move comes just weeks after Shinola celebrated July 4 with a Statue of Liberty collection.

As part of the release of the collection, members of the brand attended a naturalization ceremony to celebrate over 100 people gaining a US citizenship.
