Unique Jewelry to bring its watch portfolio to LWS

Unique Jewelry will bring its collection of timepiece brands, including Festina, Candino Lotus and Oxygen, to the second annual London Watch Show in 2014.

Unique Jewelry also exhibited at the inaugural event earlier this year and has now decided to return in 2014. Co-founder Daniel Ozel stated: " The London Watch Show had a very good start last year. I think a dedicated watch show here in the UK market gives brands and retailers the opportunity to present and see the latest launches. There is, in my opinion, definitely a market gap and need for that here in the UK because at the other big UK shows, like IJL and Spring Fair, there are just a few watch brands present, which is just not representing the whole UK watch industry."

Ozel also spoke about the importance of attending trade shows, saying they provide a "good market overview," allowing visitors to "see the latest trends and collections and new upcoming brands". He added: "Historically, UK retailers didn’t have the chance to see this here in the UK. If they wanted to see it they needed to go to Baselworld, but now with the London Watch Show, they have this opportunity here in the UK."

The London Watch Show takes place at the Freemasons’ Hall on July 6 and 7, 2014. To register for the event, click here
