Tutima takes to the sea and skies to promote its 2019 M2 Pioneer sports watches

First day of inshore racing, Offshore World Championship, the Netherlands, Tuesday 17th of July 2018.

German watchmaker Tutima Glashütte used Kiel Week, the world’s largest water sports event held at the Baltic Sea city in the north of the country, to launch its latest M2 Pioneer sports watches.

Over three million visitors and more than 4,000 sailors participate in Kiel Week.

This year’s 150th edition of Kiel Week coincides with two important anniversaries at Tutima Glashütte: the brand became “Official Timekeeper” of the prestigious regattas fifteen years ago; and ten years ago, Tutima Glashütte began participating on the fjord with its own racing yacht, which is sailed by the only all-women crew in Germany’s offshore sector.

The company also caught the eye with its Tutima’s hot-air balloon with a depiction of the Grand Flieger chronograph on its exterior.

Tutima’s M2 Pioneer comes in a pure titanium case is pressure tested to 30 atm. Its Tutima Calibre 521 is protected inside the lightweight case with a cushion of soft iron.

The watches retail for $6,100 on kevlar strap and $6,700 on titanium bracelet.
