Tudor expands Black Bay range with third colour

Tudor has added a third colour to its Heritage Black Bay range and it’s the one everyone was after.

The Tudor Heritage Black Bay Black offers a black bezel variety of the popular, vintage-inspired divers watch which has already been presented in burgundy, currently the best seller, and Midnight Blue varieties.

The bezel’s triangular zero point marker is a high-contrast red on this model instead of the white marker on the previous two models.

The creation of the Tudor Heritage Black Bay Black was not a surprise given the rapturous reception of Tudor’s Black Bay piece unique, created for next month’s Only Watch auction in Geneva. The one-off model featured a number of differences to standard Black Bay including dial printing, simplified bezel indices and different hands but illustrated how a Black Bay might look in black.

The Black Bay collection takes its inspiration from Tudor’s Submariner of the 1950s and 1960s.

The Tudor Heritage Black Bay Black is priced at £2,300 for the stainless steel bracelet model and £2,100 on a leather strap. Both options are also presented with a woven Tudor NATO-style strap.
