Digital marketplace TrueFacet has been recognized for its unwavering commitment to building a best-in-class customer experience for buying designer jewelry and luxury watches online at a gathering of industry leaders in New York this week.
The business’s co-founders Tirath Kamdar and Chris Chan received an award from fraud-protection firm Signifyd for its “entrepreneurial spirit guided by innovative thinking and a radically transparent approach to selling luxury online can disrupt retail’s status quo”.
“Ecommerce, for all of its convenience, often lacks emotional resonance and the joy of discovery in the buying experience. That’s a hard moment to create but essential for success online, particularly for luxury products. That is the experience TrueFacet has captured,” said Indy Guha, vice president of enterprise marketing for Signifyd. “And in the mold of a digitally native retailer, they’ve done it by never forgetting that a purchase is more than a transaction and that retail relationships don’t end with the sale.”
TrueFacet’s Mr Kamdar added: “TrueFacet is a data-driven company, and we understand that online customers are data-driven too. Before a person makes a large purchase online, they need as much information, data, and insight as possible to help them make the most educated decision. It is our mission to provide all the resources we can to our customers to help them do that, and our concierges and in-house experts make the buying journey a personal one. We are there to help educate, inform, and answer all of our customers’ questions, and I think that’s a huge part of our success.”
