Tourneau/Bucherer has opened a Rolex boutique just two blocks up from a smaller showroom that housed the brand on North Michigan Avenue in Chicago until last year.
The new Rolex Chicago store occupies a street level corner unit of the historic Warwick Allerton Hotel in an Italian Renaissance-inspired building, built in 1924.
“We are pleased to be opening our new Rolex Boutique in Chicago, in partnership with Rolex. The new location, which has moved up two blocks on North Michigan Avenue, incorporates design elements of the landmark building while offering an inviting environment for our customers,” says Ira Melnitsky, CEO or Tourneau LLC and President of Bucherer USA.
Travertine walls have a similar tone to the building’s street level façade and American walnut and brass echo design themes of the 1920s.
