Tissot’s NBA deal goes into overtime


Tissot has added a multi-year extension to its partnership with the NBA, which currently sees its timekeeping technology and branding used at 29 basketball arenas.

The Swatch Group brand recently launched the T-Touch Connect Solar smartwatch, which has a special app to help NBA fans to track their teams.

The watch provides live game notifications, scores and statistics.


A number of active NBA players are currently brand ambassadors of Tissot, including the Golden State Warriors’ Klay Thompson and the Portland Trail Blazers’ Damian Lillard.

“Tissot is honoured and happy to renew its contract with the NBA,” said Sylvain Dolla, chief executive of Tissot.

“Being the official timekeeper of this league offers a tremendous potential of growth as well as a deep feeling of pride.

“Tissot’s aim is to continue to develop watches and timekeeping solutions that will enhance the NBA experience for all basketball fans.”
