Tissot turns to classical 1970s design for everyday quartz watch

0

Tissot’s first fresh watch of 2021 is an inexpensive everyday quartz piece on sale from today for $375.

The PRX 40 205 is a modern interpretation of a design from the late 1970s, but its timeless style could be from any era of the past 50 years.

It is a 40mm steel on steel three-hander with date in a tonneau-shaped case  — launching today with a quartz movement, but Tissot is promising an automatic later this year.

There are blue, black or silver sunburst dial options for the quartz model and the same choices expected when the automatic arrives.
