Timex showing Linear Chrono at London Watch Show

Timex will be showcasing its Linear Chronograph with Intelligent Quartz Technology at the London Watch Show.

Breaking the mould of time recording in a traditional circular motion, this Timex model measures time in a straight line. It incorporates a second time zone and four hour chronograph movement to indicate the minutes on a vertical line. The technology boasts bi-directional motors that propel the proprietary linear hand positioned at 9 o’clock and indicates the minute of the chronograph function.

The watch RRPs range from £149.99 to £199.99 depending on the choice of colours and materials. There’s a range of colour ways including a tan dial with yellow accent and tan canvas strap. Some of the styles will be released in July, with others to follow in September.

The Timex team is looking forward to introducing the model at the London Watch Show and meeting with retail and press visitors to the show. "We’re looking forward to being able to showcase our top existing collections to retailers who may not be familiar with Timex’s most recent product offerings, and of course to introduce our key Christmas lines to retailers and consumer media," says Dan Calvert UK marketing manager at Timex. "We’re really looking forward to seeing the UK industry together, and sharing some ideas and best practice – perhaps over a couple of drinks!"
