Timex and Todd Snyder throw it back with latest timepiece

Timex and Todd Snyder have described their latest collaboration as a throwback to “one of the most elegant eras in design.”

The new design has been aimed at ‘The New Casual,’ alluding to the way men are currently viewing fashion and dressing.

Reflecting on the latest partnership, Snyder said: “I saw the inspiration for this when I was meeting with Timex’s Milan-based design director Giorgio Galli.”

Adding: “And we were working on ideas for a watch with retro elements that would resonate with the vintage details in our fall collection including retro sweater polos, bold patterned cardigans, and boucle wool topcoats.”

The watch features a Quartz movement, a stainless steel case, a mineral glass crystal, a genuine Red Wing leather strap, plus glow-in-the-dark elements on the hands and hour markers.

It is water-resistant to 50 meters.

The Timex x Todd Snyder Art Deco Milano XL is available for purchase at $128.

Earlier this year, Timex and Todd Snyder united to raise $10,000 for pride.
