With Baselworld looming, TAG Heuer has announced a new Carrera line of watches, which come with up to 13 variations.
55 years on from its creation, TAG Heuer has revamped its Carrera line with a new automatic movement, the Heuer 02 calibre.
The new movement allows for chronograph minutes and hours at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock, as well as small seconds at the 6 and a date window.
The partially skeletonised 43mm watch comes in a steel case, in ceramic, carbon or gold, as well as utilizing rubber, leather or ceramic for the strap or a metal bracelet.
The collection takes its name from the legendary week-long “Carrera Panamericana” road race held in Mexico during the 1950s, a competition revived in 1988 as an annual rally for pre-1955 collectors’ vehicles, and for which TAG Heuer is both partner and Official Timekeeper.
