The 27th edition of the world-famous Gordon McCall’s Motorworks Revival Event was held last week at the Monterey Jet Center in Pebble Beach, California, and BeauGeste, distributor for Chronoswiss, Eberhard and Reservoir watches in the United States used the event to present 2018 models to three thousand automobile enthusiasts.

Oliver Ebstein, owner and CEO of Chronoswiss, as well as François Moreau, founder & CEO of Reservoir, flew in from Europe to attend.

Thierry Chaunu, CEO of Beaugeste said that the vintage car crowd was a perfect place to present prestigious watch brands. “The keen interest and attention that each brand garnered demonstrate, once again, that savvy, excellent watch buyers are eager to discover Swiss brands that are authentic, family-owned and fiercely independent from large conglomerates. Each brand has a strong personality, integrity, and, last but not least, not overly distributed,” says Mr Chaunu,

“Customers appreciate meeting the owners or principals face-to-face, the one-on-one dialogue, customization discussions, and share their passion with like-minded watch,” he adds.

Hugues and Jeanie Chatel, owners of luxury watch emporium Chatel Jewelers based in nearby Carmel-by-the-Sea, partnered with BeauGeste and welcomed customers at the show.

Mr Chatel comments: “We at Chatel were very pleased with our partnership with Thierry Chaunu and his team at Beaugeste.  Eberhard and Reservoir received a lot of attention and praise from our savvy watch customers throughout the Pebble Beach automotive events. We look forward to doing it again, as our objectives were surpassed in many ways.”
