Swarovski is Hot 100 2015 Principal Partner


Swarovski is the Principal Partner of the WatchPro Hot 100 2015.

The exciting move from the pre-eminent crystal jewellery and watch brand comes at a time when it’s making bigger and bolder moves in the watch industry.

As UK managing director, Hayley Quinn, revealed exclusively in May’s WatchPro, Swarovski sees the women’s watch market as an area of massive potential growth.


“Swarovski is extremely proud to be announced as the Principal Partner of the WatchPro Hot 100 2015,” says Quinn. “2015 marks an exciting new approach for Swarovski watches and one that we are extremely excited to share with our valued retailers and customers. We are delighted to be head-lining an event that honours the hardworking individuals of our industry.”

The WatchPro Hot 100 2015 in association with Swarovski celebrates the 100 most influential people involved in the UK watch industry with an annual magazine featuring irreverent photographic portraits of those selected for inclusion by the WatchPro editorial team. The magazine is then launched at an exclusive, glittering launch party attended by the Hot 100 and sponsors’ guests on Wednesday 8 July.

James Buttery, editor of WatchPro and the annual Hot 100, said: “We’re all delighted to have Swarovski onboard the WatchPro Hot 100 2015 as Principal Partner. After a successful Baselworld, where press and retailers gave Swarovski positive feedback on the new designs and strategy of its watch collection, Quinn says that sponsoring the WatchPro Hot 100 will be key to maintaining and building a strong presence within the watch industry:

“The WatchPro Hot 100 is such a well-known and well-loved event amongst our peers, so for us it is the perfect event to celebrate the exciting things to come for Swarovski watches.”

Quinn is also particularly excited about the choice of venue for this year’s WatchPro Hot 100 party – the stunning Kensington Roof Gardens.

“Kensington Roof Gardens will be sparkling on July 8th. It’s the perfect venue to showcase our current collection – aptly named Crystal Garden. Those who are lucky enough to receive an invitation to this year’s event can expect sparkle from start to finish and will be treated to a true celebration honouring the amazing individuals and teams in the watch industry.”

Event director, Daniel Malins, shares Quinn’s excitement and enthusiasm: “Put simply, this is the biggest event in the UK watch calendar. As the sun sets on a balmy summer’s day in early July, the great and good of the industry will come together for an unforgettable night of celebration, networking and fun, all at probably the greatest party venue in London.”

Swarovski’s Quinn is in no doubt that Kensington Roof Gardens is the place to be on July 8. “The WatchPro Hot 100 is a highly important event for the industry. There is no other event which celebrates the success of the most influential individuals in the UK watch industry. Also, the fact that each and every one of the Hot 100 have been nominated by someone else within the industry makes it even more invaluable,” concludes Quinn.
