Star-studded line up heads for inaugural Worn & Wound wind-up watch fair


Almost 30 watch and accessories brands have confirmed their attendance ahead of the inaugural Worn & Wound San Francisco wind-up watch fair, which is taking place next month.

The event, running May 18 to 20, is focusing on showcasing a range of watchmakers that specialize in affordable mechanical pieces.

Organisers of Worn & Wound’s Wind-Up, which is free and open to the public, is a three-day watch culture event featuring a range of watch and accessory brands, have confirmed that Oris, Junghans and Autodromo, among others, will be attending its first show in San Francisco.


Other brands that will be found at Wind-Up include Baltic, Everest, Collins, Juvo, Vero and Rec. The lead sponsor for this year’s Wind Up is Oris, along with sponsors coming in from Autodromo, Tockr, and Junghans.

Next month’s event on the West Coast joins Wind Up in New York, which welcomed 15,000 guests in October 2017.

“Building on the incredible success of our original New York event, we wanted to bring Wind-Up to the watch enthusiasts on the West Coast” said Zach Weiss, co-founder of Worn & Wound and Wind-Up. “Until now, there’s been no large-scale watch event in California, we’re excited to be the first.”

The San Francisco will exist alongside Wind Up in New York, which will return later this year.
