Stafford Jewelers is shifting into the world of pre-owned luxury goods with a new store in its home town of Cincinnati called ShopJacobJames.

The store is named after the sons Jacob and James (Jimmy) of Amy Stafford, owner of the jeweler.

ShopJacobJames will open this summer on the leafy Hyde Park Square at the center of Cincinnati, and online at shopjacobjames.com.

It will sell high end watches, jewelry and accessories including designer handbags, wallets, scarves and sunglasses.

Swiss watches will be sourced, serviced and authenticated by the team at Stafford Jewelers. It will also allow individuals to list their luxury second hand goods on consignment with the store.

“With the resale retail market on pace to reach $41 billion dollars by 2020, and the rise of digital resale outlets like the RealReal and Poshmark, Stafford Jewelers recognized an opportunity to create a tangible customer experience, where shoppers can see, touch and feel items in person,” the company says.
