Skagen builds brand awareness via social networks


Danish brand Skagen is building its social network audience using a competition to find customers who own the oldest models of its watches.

Skagen watch owners are encouraged to take a photograph of their watches and upload them to the Wildfire app. The pictures are then posted onto the company’s Facebook page and judged by experts to find out which watch is the oldest.

The closing date for entries is April 2.

The winning entry from a man will receive a new Skagen 331XLRLDO brown leather and rose gold multi-function watch.

The winning entry from a woman will be sent a Skagen 456SRR1 women’s watch with gold textured bezel.
