Sevenfriday has added an NFC chip that enables contactless payment to its latest all-black M-Series collection dubbed the “Spaceship”.

The brand’s M3/01 Spaceship is a continuation of the M-Series, square shaped timepieces that use metal discs that rotate in a window to display the time. This 47mm piece comes in an all-black case with red and gray detailing.

It uses three overlapping sandblasted white discs with black numbers and tracks in order to show hours, minutes and seconds. A red indicator is placed at the 9 hour mark and the minute indicator on the inner circle.

The Miyota 8215, which runs for 40 hours, is protected with a mineral glass and a screw down case back.

The company explains the piece will hit the global ecommerce platform on March 2 and will go on sale for $1100  in “quite small” quantities.
