Schofield teams with Cherchbi for watch wallet

British watch brand Schofield has teamed with luxury leather goods company Cherchbi to create a limited edition watch wallet.

The limited-edition watch wallet has been made from vegetable tanned English saddle leather from Clayton Tannery in Derbyshire and the pockets are lined with wool tweed made from the fleece of Cumbrian sheep, vintage sail cloth made in the 1950s and Moon Mill tweed.

The construction of the wallet, which is on sale through Schofield’s website for £468, was carried out at Cherchbi’s workshops in Walsall. It can hold up to three watches.

The watch is sold with an original artwork created by Schofield founder Giles Ellis inspired by the Automatic Tide Marker Station at Irvine harbour on the Clyde coast in Scotland where the River Irvine meets the sea. This Grade B listed building was opened in 1906 to house the automatic tide marker, an invention created by Irvine harbour master Martin Boyd to gage the depth of water in the harbour.
