Sarah Layton, a family-run jewellery and watch retailer in Whalley, Lancashire, has increased the size of its store three times over, enabling it to increase its range of watch brands while adding a large-scale Georg Jensen shop-in-shop area.
The store opened in 2010 and presently stocks jewellery by a number of brands, but has been able to increase it watch offer following its store extension and re-fit, as well as a new Georg Jensen shop-in-shop space that will also include watches.
Gill Layton-Hill, director of the store, said: “We’ve recently extended our shop to three times its original size which has allowed us to be able to further increase the collections we can offer.
“We are proud and excited to now stock Georg Jensen jewellery, watches and living [goods]. We have also added more to our ranges of watches including ToyWatch and Bering."
The retailer also sells fashion watches by Thomas Sabo and Swarovski.
Leyton-Hill runs the store with her two daughters. They closed the space for a week while the final shopfit took place. It was carried out by JKB Shopfitting, after Leyton-Hill acquired the shop space next door in January, and began work on the space a few weeks later.
