Retailer Sarah Layton has added three new and very different watch brands to its repertoire, as it continues to develop its position in the UK retail marketplace.
The store, based in Whalley in Lancashire, has taken on Hamilton, Tendence and Hugo Boss watches, something its co-owner Gill Layton-Hill says it is excited about.
“Hamilton we loved because of its affordability, offering Swiss made automatic watches starting at £360. We also loved the styling and quality of the watches. We thought the price point sat well with the brands we already stock – Georg Jensen, Bering, ToyWatch, Thomas Sabo & Swarovski.”
She added that the store took on Hugo Boss because of the need for a quality men’s fashion brand watch.
“Both Hamilton and Hugo Boss are both quite masculine brands, although we have taken a few of their ladies watches,” added Layton-Hill. “Tendence watches we loved because they’re so different. We loved the quirky 3D dial, and again, they’re an affordable, oversized watch, starting at £150.”
The Sarah Layton store was extended earlier this year, adding a large Georg Jensen shop-in-shop space.
