San Francisco chapter of Wind^Up watch exhibition opens tomorrow

Wind^Up, a three day show for watch enthusiasts, opens tomorrow in San Francisco (May 18).

The event originated in New York, but has traveled West for the first time to be held in the Chandran Gallery.

Around 30 watch brands will be presenting their current collections, including lead sponsor Oris, German’s Junghans and Tockr, a Texan watch business that uses mechanical components and complications manufactured exclusively in Switzerland.

Wind^Up, which is run by the same company as Worn and Wound, says it “couldn’t be more excited to put this show on for all the West Coast watch nerds out there”.

The organizer promises to introduces visitors to the people behind independent watch brands such as Klockers, REC, Monta and Mercer.
