Rotary has launched the Regent, a premium sports watch optimised for precision and performance.

The brand says it echoes Rotary’s innovative watchmaking past and is on track to becoming and iconic family within its core ranges.

The Regent offers a brushed steel 40mm case with 8 polished facets which houses a circular dial, seamlessly melting into either an integrated tapered h-link bracelet or leather strap.

There are two choices of high gloss dials; midnight blue or sultry black dial with facetted high grade luminous index hour markers.

In addition there are two skeleton dials which also come in the same shades of blue and black and feature an inner minute tracker and an eye catching shaped ‘cage’ structure that creates additional space and light surrounding the self-winding movement.

Matt O’Neill, head of design at Rotary Watches, said: “Regent balances its enigmatic and powerful design with refined touches of elegance and finesse. The 40mm stainless steel case has a dual finished, light-catching facetted bezel and provides a focal point to the integrated bracelet design which continues the flow of light around the timepiece.”

Adding: “There is a harmony between the curves and the angles in this design.”

Available now, the Rotary collection starts at £249.
