Rolex dealer Rottermond Jewelers fundraises for local dog park

Rottermond Jewelers, which has showrooms in Brighton and Milford, Michigan, is raising money for a local dog park by giving customers the chance to win a $550 Shinola watch in return for a donation of just $10.

Rottermond is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, and the jeweler, which is an authorized dealer for Shinola, Rolex and Tudor, is working with another local business, BlingNThings on the fundraiser that they hope will pay for the Milford Dog Park Project, a park proposed in Milford.

Contestants can donate multiple times for multiple entries; however, the retailer will stop accepting donations after 100 total entries have been collected.

The winner will be announced live on Rottermond Jewelers’ Facebook page on August 29.

“I believe that to be a successful business, you cannot just take. You have to give back as well,” said Cindi Rottermond, vice president of the jewelry retailer. “That’s why we do something to give back to the community every year.”
