Another record-setting auction has seen a platinum Rolex Daytona sell for over $3 million.

Sotheby’s Hong Kong estimated that the platinum automatic lapis lazuli dial Rolex Cosmograph Daytona would sell for between $4 million and $8 million HKD ($516,000-$1,032,000).

The eventual selling price was $25.37 million HKD ($3.27 million) including fees, making it the most expensive automatic Daytona ever sold.
