Swiss watchmaker RJ — formerly known as RJ Romaine Jerome — used a party at CoutureTime in Las Vegas to introduce a subversive Joker-themed version of its Arraw watch.

“We at RJ were proud to create a memorable event experience for the watch industry’s taste-makers and buyers inspired by one of DC Comic’s most iconic villains,” says Marco Tedeschi, RJ CEO and Creative Director.

“Just like our Arraw The Joker watch, this event represents what RJ is all about: statement-making horology, pop culture, and creative collaboration.”

RJ worked with Warner Bros and DC Entertainment, owner of the Batman franchise, to create the Arraw The Joker watch.

“It is a statement of confidence in RJ’s place in both popular culture and watchmaking that Warner Bros and DC Entertainment have collaborated with us to bring their most infamous villains to life as rare, limited edition collectors’ watches,” Mr Tedecshi describes.

The RJ Joker watch uses iconic visuals from The Joker including his razor-tipped playing cards and striking facial make-up.

The self-winding chronograph is presented in a circular satin-brushed 45mm titanium version of the Arraw case marked by its signature rubber bumpers, shaped lugs and arrow-shaped hands and engraved bezel.
