Panerai and Watchfinder, both owned by Richemont, have teamed up to provide a part exchange service in the United States.
The service means that luxury watches can be traded-in at any one of Panerai’s 14 boutiques, run mostly in partnership with authorized dealers across the country.
They will be given an instant estimate on their watch and, if happy with the price, it will be sent with to Watchfinder’s manufacturer-certified service centre for a full appraisal and a final valuation.
Watches from the likes of Rolex, Patek Philippe, Cartier, Audemars Piguet, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre can be traded-in, although not every watch is guaranteed to be accepted, particularly anything over 25 years of age.
Along with the United States, the service is available in Panerai boutiques across the UK, France, Germany, Switzerland and Hong Kong.
