Watch brand REC has seen an impressive response to its Kickstarter crowdfund campaign having already beat its £158,000 target by £230,000.
The campaign is to raise funds for its new 901 Collection made from salvaged parts of classic Porsche 911 cars and has already achieved £390,000 with 10 days of the campaign left to spare.
The 901 Collection includes salvaged and recycled 911 parts and has incorporated subtle references of the infamous car and has already been well received by punters.
The collection offers three colour variations and will retail for around £1,400.
The Danish watch brand said: “Finally we’re delighted to present a collection which features handmade materials, high quality components and a design that pays tribute to the timeless car-design originally created by Ferdinand Porsche.”
