Pirelli has launched its Grand Prix Challenge in the UK, an online Formula One prediction game in which users can scoop prizes including limited edition racing-inspired Raidollon timepieces.
The Pirelli Grand Prix Challenge was originally launched in America, and following its resounding success the interactive online game has now expanded to the UK market.
Winners around announced a various stages of the Grand Prix season, while an overall winner – he or she who has accumulated the most points throughout the season – scoops a larger prize. There is no purchase required and users can sign up at any time during the season.
Pirelli UK marketing director Wayne Nickless said: “Pirelli introduced the GP Challenge to America last season, and we were delighted to hear that 29,000 users had signed up to the game in its inaugural year.
“Fantasy games have become increasingly popular over the past few years and we have been pushing to have the game introduced to the UK market for quite some time.”
The top player of the 2012 season will win a VIP trip to the Austin Grand Prix in Texas, while other prizes include limited edition Raidillon watches, Pirelli tyres, a driving experience for two, Apple products and tickets to Silverstone.
