Swiss watch brand Rado has announced that it has become the official watch partner of the Aegon tennis championship at London’s Queen’s Club, set to take place next month.
The brand will also be official timekeeper of the tennis tournament, a place where some of the world’s top ranked tennis players “warm up” ahead of Wimbledon.
Rado will promote its D-Star 200 timepiece as this year’s tournament watch, characterised by its impressive water resistance.
This is the first time that Rado has sponsored the Aegon Championship at Queen’s, a venue it has dubbed “exceptional”.
The tournament timepiece, the Rado D-Star 200, is a ceramic and stainless steel watch with a high-tech ceramic linked bracelet and automatic movement.
The Aegon Championship at Queen’s kicks off on June 11, with games played until June 17.
