Swatch Group’s design-driven watchmaker Rado supported rising Brooklyn fashion designer Romeo Hunte during his Spring/Summer 2019 catwalk show at New York Fashion Week.
Rado CEO Matthias Breschan said that the collaboration was a perfect fit that highlights the innovation of the designer and the watchmaker. “We are thrilled to partner with Romeo Hunte and see Rado’s pioneering watches presented alongside his latest collection. We believe this partnership highlights our shared dedication to innovative design and materials,” he adds.
“Rado is the ideal partner for my new collection as we both share the passion of intricate yet timeless designs,” agrees Romeo Hunte. “Our SS19 collection expresses
the working fashionable woman that can transition from work to social life and Rado beautifully complements the aesthetic with a touch of glamour.”
This season the New York designer used different materials, from denim and PVC, to Neoprene and French Terry in his SS19 show.
Models wore watches from Rado’s latest collections including pieces from the True and True Thinline Collections made in white and black high-tech ceramic and the
