Ulysse Nardin has created a US boutique limited edition timepiece that has parallels to the design of a schooner sailing vessel.
The new Schooner chronograph from the watch manufacturer is water resistant up to 200 meters. Limited to 50 units, the piece has a 45.8 mm diameter case made from stainless steel. It is coated with navy blue rubber and finished with a sapphire crystal case back.
The first three minute markers on the dial are distinguished in orange, and the element on the strap is engraved with a commemorative schooner.
Ulysse Nardin vice president of sales Nelson Lucero said: “There is a level of precision and detail that is unprecedented in watchmaking when it comes to the way Ulysse Nardin manufactures its timepieces. We strive for excellence in our invention and innovation, both of which the Schooner timepiece embodies. We are confident marine and timepiece aficionados will embrace the intricate details of the watch.”
