Luxury watch retailers are starting to embrace the business model of The Limited Edition, a year-old website that aims to educate and generate sales for independent brands and rare timepieces in the UK.
The platform has been growing rapidly since it launched in 2015 thanks to its focus on nurturing and deepening knowledge about hard to find watches.
The company says that no ordinary timepiece is showcased on the platform. It currently showcases an innovative mix of independent watch manufacturers including H.Moser & Cie, HYT, Graham, Linde Werdelin, Andreas Strehler, Hautlence, Frederic Jouvenot, Romain Jerome, Sevenfriday.
The site now welcomes around 30,000 enthusiasts per month and the success is generating even greater interest from consumers and retail partners.
“We are proud to reveal that we have recently started important collaborations with some of the most prestigious retailers, who have agreed to promote some of their most exclusive timepieces through our platform. This element will be key in enriching the platform with more stunning timepieces, and to consolidate The Limited Edition as the quirkiest horological collectors place available online,” says co-founder Pietro Tomajer.
