Pointtec takes aim at porcelain with Rosenthal collaboration watches

0

German watchmaker Pointtec has created a collection of ladies’ watches in collaboration with Rosenthal, a leader in porcelain home and giftware.

Pointec, which makes watches under the Junkers and Zeppelin brand names, will provide precise watch-making skills to the partnership, while Rosenthal will bring its finest porcelain, which will be used to make the dials.

Stainless steel cases on leather or textile straps will house Swiss-made quartz movements. Finished watches will have a range of SKUs including skeletonised pieces.

“The look of this collection ranges from pure simplicity to feminine opulent. Sophisticated details, such as porcelain drops embedded in the dial or additional gold and silver embellishments give the collection its great charisma,” Pointtec says.

Prices will be around EUR 249.
