Peers Hardy presented a showcase of watches and jewellery that it described as the best of London’s high street brands at Baselworld last month.
The British watch business showcased its first collections from Jigsaw, L.K.Bennett and Sara Miller London alongside its own watch brand Henry London and collections from licensed partners Orla Kiely Time and Lola Rose.
The group hopes that the image of London’s vibrant retail and fashion scene will appeal to retailers in the United States and around the world.
“London is the most wonderful city in the world. Wherever you may live, visit London once and the experience will never be forgotten. It is not only along London streets and among the people you’ll find magic, but also on the thoroughfares and high street. The truth is not everyone gets the chance to visit our city so we have been working over the last 12 months to build up a enviable and diversified portfolio of own and licence brands to bring a taste of London to international markets.

Henry London has over 50 distribution partners, whilst Orla Kiely and Lola Rose have been instant hits in the markets of South East Asia since their launch in 2015,” says Paul Harry, international sales and marketing director for Peers Hardy.

An British affordable luxury brand, founded by Linda Bennett in London in 1990 with the vision of bringing “a bit of Bond Street luxury to the High Street”. Over the last three decades the brand has built up an international presence not least because the brand’s clothing is often worn by HRH Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. The watch collection fuses contemporary style with luxurious design details to perfectly encapsulate the essence of L.K.Bennett. Henry London is expanding its range of mainly men’s watches with the addition for 35mm styles for women. The collection has a celestial theme which is brought to life through the use of a contemporary mother of pearl effect dial and discreet yet dazzling stone-set markers taking the place of numbers. The defining feature is the delicate constellation star design on the dial, representing the night sky. A new men’s diver’s collection is also being introduced with automatic movements.Moonphase starting from $175, Automatic starting $350.
Jigsaw is a 40-year-old privately owned British fashion and retail company that aims to sell affordable and stylish clothes in exciting surroundings. Peers Hardy is adding a range of Orla Kiely Time clocks to go with its watch collections, a move that fits with the Orla Kiely homeware portfolio.
