Panerai floats fresh Submersible in partnership with extreme adventurer Mike Horn

Mike Horn is among the world’s greatest living explorers and has been a Panerai ambassador on a number of his recent adventures including reaching the North Pole in winter, a pole to pole journey and the circumnavigation of the globe sailing all the world’s oceans and crossing every continent.

Panerai likes to make a limited edition for each Mike Horn expedition but a new collaboration piece launching today is more of a tribute to the man himself.

The Submersible Chrono Flyback Mike Horn Edition diving watch celebrates almost 20 years of his partnership with Panerai in a 500-piece limited edition.

It comes in a lightweight 47mm brushed titanium case with a black matte ceramic ring unidirectional bezel. It has screw-down chronograph pushers for greater water resistance (up to 300 metres) along with the signature Panerai crown protector.

A dark blue dial has high contrast and luminous applied hour markers and oversized hands in bright white.

Yellow is used as an accent on the central seconds and chronograph hands.

The 47mm watch is powered by Panerai’s automatic P.9100 flyback chronograph movement.

It goes on sale in the United States for $20,000.
