Panerai expands its only collection of ladies’ watches

Panerai has added to its family of Luminor Piccolo Due ladies watches with two new color combinations; one a decidedly masculine black and anthracite grey piece, the other a more feminine ivory-dialed model with a red alligator leather strap.

Both use the 38mm steel case Lumonir Due case with a crown lock on the side.

Everything about the watches suggest they fit with today’s buzz term of gender-neutral, but Panerai insists they are solely for ladies.

Behind the sandwich dial — a luminous layer is exposed where the upper dial plate is punctured for its hour markers — beats an automatic P.900 movement with three day power reserve.

They are water resistant to 30 meters and retail for around $6,750.
