Nomos Glassütte to update its Orion for second time this year

Nomos Glasshütte is updating its Orion for the second time this year, with two new color variations.

In spring, the company released its iconic Tangente, Ludwig and Orion models with an entirely new cailber and integrated function, giving birth to the Update series.

This time around, the Orion will be available in two different color variations, a midnight blue and olive gold, or subtle green and gold.

As one of the brand’s earliest models, which formed the first family of NOMOS Glashütte watches in 1992, Orion stakes a claim as a classic timepiece.

The model was long available exclusively with manual winding, since only a very thin movement could be housed in its stainless steel case.

However, the Update series, which introduced a new neomatik date caliber, grew the Orion to a diameter of 41mm.

Orion neomatik 41 date midnight blue and Orion neomatik 41 date olive gold will join the NOMOS Update series in October, when they will be available in stores and online at nomos-glashuette.com.
