Nomos Glashütte adopts four of Ludwig Van Beethoven’s best-loved symphonies

Nomos Glashütte has adopted four of Ludwig Van Beethoven’s best-loved symphonies to name a fresh range of watches in its square-cased Tetra collection.

Ode to Joy, Immortal Beloved, Fidelio and Divine Spark are the names given to four new dial colors: copper, turquoise, dark blue and olive green.

All four are powered by the Nomos hand wound Alpha movement, which is visible through a sapphire crystal caseback.

2020 is the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth in 1770, so his profile will dramatically increase as we move towards the date of his birth in December this year.

Nomos’s Tetra Symphony collection come in steel 29.5mm square cases on velour leather straps.

They go on sale at the end of February priced at $2,080.
