Mühle-Glashütte has launched the new Teutonia IV Mondphase.
The new timepiece becomes the brand’s first ever time measuring instrument with a moon phase display.
The watch captures the moon in a special window above the 6 o’clock marking while underneath sits a lunar disc which, with a diameter of around ten millimetres, rotates and completes a full cycle in 59 days.
The moon phase display is incorporated into a light-coloured face with applied indices and clearly marked minute graduation with small blue second and minute numerals.
The watch is powered by the Mühle-version SW 280-1 and is water resistant to 10 bars.
It is expected to retail for around $2905 (£2280).
