Michel Herbelin makes all-green version of its retro-styled Inspiration

French watchmaker Michel Herbelin has added a green three-hand with date model to its Inspiration family of automatics for 2019.

The Inspiration line was first launched in 2017 as part of the brand’s 70th anniversary year celebrations.

This year’s line extension collection comes with a slightly curved vivid ivy green sunray dial that gives the watch a 1950s vintage feel while its precisely crafted case, hands and indexes are achieved with thoroughly modern watchmaking.

Its Swiss-made Sellita self-winding movement is housed in a 40mm polished steel case with a round, ribbed crown set with a black onyx.

The movement’s Côtes de Genève pattern and oscillating weight engraved Michel Herbelin can be seen through a transparent caseback.

Retail price is expected to be around $1000.
