MB&F founds The Tribe owners’ club offering two years warranty to members

MB&F has taken the extraordinary step of creating an owner’s club, which offers two years of warranty to every Horological Machine it has created to celebrate the brand’s 10th anniversary this year.

MB&F has established The Tribe owner’s club, no doubt to better understand the nature of its consumer base, and is offering the warranty on any piece belonging to those who sign up.

The offer of two years of warranty, whatever the age of the ‘machine’, applies to each of the estimated 1,500 creations sold by the company since 2005.

Machines for which the manufacturer’s warranty has already expired will gain two years cover while pieces purchased within the past two years will have the two years added on top of the existing warranty period. Even resold pieces will be covered by the offer. The only MB&F pieces not covered by the new offer are the musical machines and table clocks manufactured by external partners, such as Reuge and L’Epée 1839.

During this anniversary year MB&F has already reduced its margins on the limited edition HMX timepiece to create the brand’s most affordable piece.

Although not clearly outlined in the initial announcement made by MB&F owner and creative director Maximilian Büsser, membership of The Tribe will include other benefits.
