March LA.B creates limited edition for Colette

Trendsetting watch brand March LA.B has created a limited edition timepiece for Paris lifestyle retailer Colette, called the LA.B AM3 Legionnaire.

The timepiece takes inspiration from military skills and uses the colours of the uniforms worn by the French Foreign Legion such as khaki.

It has a Louisiana alligator strap taken from the “large scaled region of the reptilian hide”, said to be one of the most luxurious cuts on the market.

The Legionnaire has March LA.B’s 38mm cushion-shaped steel case, black PVD treatment, a Swiss ETA auctomatic movement, sweeping seconds hand, date and power reserve of 42 hours.

Its rotor is decorated with Los Angeles / Biarritz and has special customised guilloché decoration.

The watch will sell through Colette’s Paris store – which is also home to watches by Swatch, U-Boat, Artya, Perrelet, Bell & Ross and Vulcain – and has a price of about £1,995.
