Larsson & Jennings’ Opera collection sings with design detail


Larsson & Jennings’ Opera collection of his and hers easy wearing watches goes on sale today.

The British watch business has been dialing up the detail this year and the Opera is a good example of the improvements to its watchmaking.

Guilloche dials made up of different textures play with light, while hollow pipette hands point to applied Arabic numerals.


That is a lot of watchmaking expertise in watches with a Ronda Swiss quartz movements selling for around $320 to $395.

There are women’s models in 33mm steel cases and 38mm versions that are likely to appeal to men and women.

Different options in the family include black or white dials in gold or silver colored steel cases on gold or bi-color steel bracelets, Milanese mesh or leather straps.
