Kronaby’s latest hybrid watch boasts more subdials as technology gets more complex

Hybrid smartwatch maker Kronaby has upgraded its Apex line just in time for Baselworld.

The Apex is now available in a new case design and with two subdials that show more instant customisable information on the watch including 24-hour GMT second timezone, show weekday, date and step/activity goal percentage.

The current collection of Apex timepieces have only one subdial, found at the 6 o’clock. However, much like previous Apex watches, the latest will sport the matte black dial with large white numerals for the hour indicators.

These 43mm hybrid pieces house the Kronaby Connected Movement in a steel case. The connected movement allows for numerous smart features that are displayed on the dial and operated with the crown and two triggers.

“Together with the Kronaby application, all Kronaby watches offers features such as Filtered Notifications, Auto Time Zone, Silent Alarm, Get Moving, Music control, Camera remote and Timer.” the brand explains.

The watch is shown with a brown leather strap but it is likely a metal bracelet can be picked up also.

The hybrid will make its debut at Basel this year but won’t go on sale until April for €595.
