Alpina Watches has officially launched four new models of its AlpinerX worldwide.
The release comes after a successful Kickstarter campaign during Baselworld which saw the order of over 3,000 customised watches.
The campaign also raised over $1.5m from backers who were eager to get their hands on a unique connected outdoor smartwatch.
Upon completion of the campaign, Alpina has now assembled and shipped all of the customized AlpinerX watches ordered by its community.
Powered by quintuple sensors, it measures UV index, temperature, altitude, pressure and direction.
Alpina has split the watch’s functions into three categories; environment, body and time.
The first includes nature-related tools such as an altimeter, a barometer, a compass, a UV index indicator, temperature measurement and a connected GPS.
The second is related to the user’s well-being and will collect activity and sleep data, offer dynamic coaching based on results and smart alarms.
And finally, the time and notification segment will bring countless time recording options, notifications, a world timer, data saving to a Cloud and a 2-year battery life.
