Cricketer Kevin Pietersen MBE has been in front of the camera for the Citizen Watch AW13 campaign shoot.
Citizen Watch UK’s brand ambassador has been photographed for a new ambassadorial print and digital campaign to celebrate The Ashes and launch the new Citizen Watch men’s AW13 collection.
The shoot, photographed by leading sports and fashion photographer Mark Newton, aims to capture the different looks of Pietersen and highlight his love of fashion, while also placing the new Citizen timepieces in the spotlight.
Taking a break from the shoot, Pietersen surprised local school children who were invited to the shoot location to meet him and have a fun game of yard cricket. The surprise cricket game and a behind the scenes video will all form part of the Citizen Watch campaign activity.
Citizen UK managing director Mark Robinson said: “Citizen has worked with Kevin for over eight years and I’m delighted to be able to continue our relationship with one of England’s sporting icons. This year we wanted to create a campaign that not only showed KP in a sporting context but to also convey his personal style and how to wear Citizen for different looks and occasions.”
