Jaeger-LeCoultre is speaking up for audible timekeepers this year with two additions to its Master Control family with an onboard alarm function tuned to sound like a school bell.
The $15,700 Master Control Memovox Timer has an alarm that can be set as a daily wake-up call or a countdown timer for measuring shorter intervals during the day.
The two-tone blue-dialed watch is limited to 250 pieces.
A second model, the Master Control Memovox, does not have the second countdown timer, which trims the price to $11,600 and is not limited. It is presented with a silver sunray dial.
Both come in a 40mm steel case with sapphire crystal front and back.
They both use versions of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s in-house caliber 956 self-winding movement, which can be seen chiming from the back.
