Armand Nicolet adds a chronograph to expanded line of classic watches

While most mainstream luxury watchmakers crammed their 2017 creations into smaller cases than in recent years, Armand Nicolet has gone the other way and increased the size of its J09 Chronographs.

The addition of a chronograph to its classic line of luxury watches is also new.

The company describes the move as a link between the elegance of Swiss watchmaking and the brand’s original Italian, sporty, attitude.

Four key models have been launched for 2017, all in steel cases.

There is a black coated edition with two subdials in panda eye arrangement on a black dial with blue markers; a blue or grey dial versions with day and date; and a steel-colour case model with black dial and silver markers.

The metropolitan-styled J09 is sold with a range of straps including rubber, steel and leather.
