IN VIDEO: Jack Heuer: The Times of My Life trailer

TAG Heuer is set to screen a documentary charting the life of the company’s visionary former leader Jack Heuer at Salon QP in London next week.

Salon QP ticket holders are invited to reserve seats at one of two screenings of the 17-minute documentary, Jack Heuer: The Times of My Life, during the two day watch exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery which opens next Thursday evening.

The film documents Heuer’s drive, determination and vision which transformed the Heuer watch company from a minor Swiss watchmaker into one of the world’s most recognisable brands. Jack Heuer is the great-grandson of Heuer watch company founder Edouard Heuer.

The film’s 50-year timeline charts the businessman, marketer and designer’s pioneering pairing with Formula 1 in the 1960s through to the personal agony of losing control of the company in the 1980s.

Stéphane Linder, TAG Heuer chief executive officer, commented: “Jack was and remains an extraordinary man. We’re delighted to present this film as a celebration of his unique contribution not just to TAG Heuer, but also to the Swiss watch industry. We made this film because we wanted a lasting record of his vision, ambition, endeavour and enthusiasm. It is a moving tribute to his remarkable achievements.”
