Jean-François Sberro has been promoted from managing director of Hublot North America to president of Hublot of America.
Mr Sberro first joined Hublot in Nyon, Switzerland, in 2009 after five years at TAG Heuer. He later moved to Hublot North America in Miami in 2012, and was appointed managing director in 2015.
Mr Sberro claims much of his success and knowledge in the watch industry stems from the minds of Jean-Claude Biver, head of LVMH Watch Division, as well as Hublot Global CEO Ricardo Guadalupe.
In an interview with Haute Living, Mr Sberro explained his method to keeping the brand relevant is to offer prime retail locations with exclusive collections for clients based on the market.
“The proximity we have to our clients allows us to engage them in a bevy of the brand’s fresh and exciting activations, collaborations and launches that are hosted in various new and established venues in and around the city,” he explained.
As president, it is likely Mr Sberro will continue this branding method, as well as revamp the brand to keep it relevant.
